Disney Quick Service Dining Plan Basics
Before getting into the different Disney quick service dining locations, here is some information if you are using one of the Disney Dining Plan packages.
A dining plan meal at a Disney Quick Service restaurant will include an entrée and a beverage. You can welcome to purchase any additional items, but that will cost additional. You may choose an alcoholic beverage (if you are over 21) or a specialty beverage like a smoothie or shake.
Children 3-9 years of age must order off the children’s menu.
Snack credits may be used to purchased items where this purple “Disney Dining Plan Snack” symbol is shown.
Top 5 Disney Quick Service Dining Money Saving Tips
- Swap the side. Most quick service entrees are served as a meal with a side—often fries. If you do not like the side that is offered, ask if you can substitute it for something else. Depending on the restaurant, there may be a few options. This may not save money on the cost of the item, but at least you won’t be throwing away something you did not want.
- Order the entrée only. If you don’t want the side item at all, order just the entrée. Just because the menu shows the burger with fries, you don’t need to get the fries if you do not want them.
- Order a kid’s meal. You don’t have to be a child to order a child’s meal. Those meals typically come with a small entrée and sides of carrot sticks or grapes, and a small beverage. Sometimes a kid-sized meal is all you need to fill the void.
- Share a meal. Some meals are large enough to share. Especially if you are trying to eat light. Some restaurants have toppings bars where you can load up your entrée and make it more filling for two.
- Free water. Purchasing bottled water is certainly an option, but why buy water when you can get it for free? You can get free cups of water from any Disney quick service dining restaurant as well as snack locations that have a soda fountain. Just ask. The cast members will be happy to provide it.

Quick Service Dining in Disney's Magic Kingdom
Starting off at the most popular theme park in the world, we have the pinnacle of American cuisine. A beautiful selection of burgers, Tex-Mex, turkey legs, and even lobster rolls will surely satisfy even the hungriest of guests. It’s a Disney quick service dining dream come true!
Casey’s Corner
Down Main Street U.S.A, at the very end towards Cinderella’s castle, is Casey’s Corner. This quick-service restaurant has been in service since the park’s opening in 1971 (albeit under a different name) and has been serving hundreds of thousands of guests throughout its history.
Known for their hot dogs and Americana environment Casey’s Corner is extremely popular. Many guests will grab a dog at the end of the night as they leave the park. In fact, Casey’s typically stays open at least an hour after park closing.
Their hot dogs are 100% all-beef hot dogs and the service is an attraction of its own. Each Cast Member is fully fitted in old-style baseball uniforms, yelling for orders and making guests smile. They often feature a specialty dog with unique toppings. At Christmas, they celebrate the 12 Days of Christmas with a different topping each day. Casey’s also has corn dog nuggets which are a fan favorite menu item year-round.
There is very limited seating inside. Instead, try to get a table under an umbrella. You will have a great view of the castle. You may also get to hear some great ball-park style piano playing while eating outdoors.
Columbia Harbor House
Satisfying all of your seafood cravings is Columbia Harbor House. Located in Liberty Square, Columbia Harbor House serves American seafood classics such as fried fish and shrimp, New England Clam Chowder, Tuna Fish Sandwiches on multigrain bread, and Lobster Rolls, any seafood fan would absolutely love dining at Columbia Harbor House. They also serve chicken nuggets for landlubbers.
The entire restaurant is modeled after an old, wooden ship complete with portholes, ships in a bottle, gigantic ship wheels, and old maps. If you happen to snatch a table by one of the windows, you might have a view of Haunted Mansion or the Steam Boat that takes you to Tom Sawyer’s Island. If it is crowded, you can head upstairs for additional seating. Most people don’t even know there is an upstairs, so it tends to be a bit quieter there.
Be careful though, as Columbia Harbor House typically closes earlier than other restaurants in Magic Kingdom. You may want to eat there for lunch instead of saving it for dinner.
Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe
This is one of Magic Kingdom’s most iconic quick-service restaurants. It is also one of the largest, and busiest quick-service restaurants in Magic Kingdom.
Located in Frontierland, Pecos Bill’s features a Southwestern/Tex-Mex menu. You can order from a wide variety of Southwestern food items, such as fajitas, tacos, pork carnitas nachos, and taco salads. For dessert, you will also find mini churros with chocolate dipping sauce
The restaurant is decorated in an old western theme with a saloon ambiance and a dark/mysterious undertone consistent with the western theme. There is large indoor seating as well as several outdoor tables with a view of Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain. Also, if you time it right, you can get to see the afternoon parade pass by.
Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe
Located in Tomorrowland is Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe. Designed like a futuristic saloon, this quick-service restaurant can be described as Tomorrowland’s counterpart to Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn in Frontierland (minus the southwestern flair).
The menu features theme park classics such as burgers, fries, grilled chicken and chicken nuggets, and salads. But their unique menu item is the “Mickey’s Surprise Celebration Burger.” This burger is a carb lover’s dream; a 1/3-pound burger patty, topped with a heaping serving of Mac n’ Cheese, dusted in hot cheese powder, with two slabs on bacon on top. Yum!
They also offer a plant-based sloppy joe, plus a toppings bar to customize your meal.
The most unique part of this restaurant is the singing space alien, serenading guests with his voice and piano while they dine. If you have small kids, you may want to sit in the room he is located in. It’s a lot of fun and will keep them entertained while you get off your feet for a while.
All restaurants have allergy-free menu items, but you will find the most options on their menu. Click the links below for more information.
Sleepy Hollow
Sleepy Hollow is a small counter-service location with a few outside tables and a view of Cinderella’s Castle. If you come to the park early, this is a great spot to grab breakfast or for a light brunch.
Be sure to order the fresh fruit waffle sandwich. This is a full-size Belgian waffle with Nutella spread all over it, loaded with fresh strawberries and bananas. The fried chicken waffle sandwich is also amazing if you’re in the mood for a savory bite.
This is considered a snack location, but the food is more substantial, so we are including it as quick service. The line can sometimes be long here, so try to go early or at off-hours.
Be Our Guest
This is a very special and unique restaurant. Beast’s enchanted castle is an expansive but elegant restaurant located in Fantasyland. You have the option of dining in one of 3 unique settings reminiscent of the romance of Beauty and the Beast; The Grand Ballroom, The Castle Gallery, or The West Wing.
Although Be Our Guest is a table service restaurant for dinner, it serves Quick Service meals for breakfast and lunch. But reservations are strongly encouraged, almost required, for all meals, including breakfast and lunch. Here, you order your meals at a kiosk among armored knights. Then your meals are brought out to your table for you.
This is one of the most expensive quick-service restaurants in Magic Kingdom. If you are on the dining plan, it’s a great use of your dining credits.
The cuisine is French-inspired. For breakfast, entrees include quiche and croque madame breakfast sandwiches. For lunch, grilled carved ham sandwiches smothered in béchamel sauce, pommes frites, and tuna niçoise salad top the menu. Don’t forget to try the gray stuff—it’s delicious!
Magic Kingdom Snacks
No theme park is complete without snacks such as popcorn, pretzels, and ice cream, and Magic Kingdom is no different. If need a little pick-me-up, have no fear because every Disney park has a plethora of snacks to choose from.
At Magic Kingdom, some of the most popular snacks include candied bacon, cream cheese pretzels, the famous Dole Whip ice cream, and turkey legs.
Yes, many people consider a turkey leg in Disney to be a snack, but they can easily substitute as a meal or be shared with friends/family. The gigantic 1.5 lbs. turkey legs are cured in a salt brine and smoked over hickory wood until perfect. Be sure to find these turkey legs at the Market in Liberty Square next to the Hall of Presidents and near Haunted Mansion.
Dole Whip is probably the most iconic treat in Disney World. This delicious soft serve is a perfect blend of tangy and sweet. It is served on a cone, as a float with pineapple juice, or over pineapple upside-down cake. You can find the stand behind Aladdin’s Magic Carpet ride in Adventureland. Mobile ordering is available here. Be sure to take advantage of that. The line here can get pretty long.
Not your ordinary snack, candied bacon is the perfect mesh between sweet and savory. Served on a stick and cured perfectly, this tasty snack can be found in a small stand across the street from Pecos Bill, near the bridge over to Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in Frontierland.
For a snack that can last all day, look for the Cinnamon Glazed Almonds. Just follow the warm, sweet, cinnamony scent and it will lead you to the snack carts where they can be purchased. They are served in a paper cone you so can easily roll it closed and save some for later (if you can).
Last but not least is the cream cheese pretzel. This can be found in a variety of stalls scattered around the park, but most notably under Astro Orbiter at the The Launching Pad. The cream cheese pretzel is just like a regular soft pretzel but filled with sweet cream cheese. It is another Disney World fan-favorite snack.

Disney Quick Service Dining In Epcot
Epcot is loaded with places to eat. Finding food in Epcot is as easy as walking a few steps ahead. Every country has either a snack stall, a Disney quick service dining eatery, or both! Plus, they all have at least one table service restaurant. While it is possible to find typical American and theme park cuisine, this internationally themed park expands upon that beyond compare.
A trip around World Showcase will give you the opportunity to taste the cuisine of eleven different countries: United Kingdom, Canada, Mexico, Norway, China, Germany, Italy, the United States, Japan, Morocco, and France. Besides full-service restaurants, each country has their own quick service eateries too.
Connections Cafe and Eatery
Located in the heart of Future World, Connections Eatery is the newest addition to Epcot’s dining scene. The menu focuses on healthier options, such as salads, sandwiches, and bowls. The food is fresh, and the portions are generous, making it a great option for those looking for a nutritious meal while visiting the park. But you can also find pizza plus you can watch them being made in the open kitchen.
The cafe also offers plant-based options, making it a great choice for vegetarians and vegans. The location is spacious and bright, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available. The cafe also provides a nice respite from the busy crowds of Epcot. Overall, Connections Eatery is a great spot for a healthy and satisfying meal in the heart of Future World.
Connections Cafe is where you will find Starbucks. Besides their classic coffee and seasonal beverages, you can find some quick breakfast sandwiches and pastries.
More Epcot Snacks
If you are just looking for snack options, be sure to check the menus of the quick service places, much of the time under “sides” there are small dishes and desserts for those not so hungry or looking for a treat.
If you are visiting during one of the festivals, such as Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival, you will be in foodie paradise. In addition to all the venues mentioned above, dozens of additional options are featured with the addition of specialty carts throughout the park.

Explore Quick Service Dining In Disney's Hollywood Studios
Even though Hollywood Studios is Disney’s smallest theme park, there is so much to explore. Recent expansions of Toy Story Land and Galaxy’s Edge have added new life and color to a once monotonous theme park. With these expansions came many new attractions and new Disney quick service dining options which have quickly become some of the most popular in the park.
Woody’s Lunchbox
Woody’s Lunchbox is one of the newest additions to Hollywood Studios, but it has been an instant hit with its simple, yet effective, menu. Serving classics with a twist such as smoked brisket, grilled cheese, and Totchos, nachos but using potato barrels (tater tots) instead of tortilla chips, Woody’s Lunchbox is where to go if you are craving comfort food!
Do not overlook their drinks too. The Mystic Portal Punch is a perfect refresher on a hot day, as it’s blue Powerade mixed with different citrusy flavorings.
You will need a cold drink on a hot day as the only seating is outdoors. But kids of all ages will be thrilled because of how colorful and ingenious the tables and chairs are. Try to snag a seat made from a Babybel cheese wedge under an umbrella made from tinker toys.
Woody’s lunchbox is ready to welcome guests early in the morning as they are one of the few locations that serve breakfast.
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo
The newest addition to Hollywood Studios, Galaxy’s Edge, takes the guest into a very immersive Star Wars experience.
As soon as you walk into Galaxy’s Edge, you are transported to a village called Black Spire Outpost on the remote planet Batuu. You will be greeted in Batuuese with phrases such as “bright suns” (meaning “good morning” or “good day”) and “rising moons” (meaning “good evening”) by the locals (cast members) who live and work on Batuu.
There are a few choices for food but Docking Bay 7 is by far the biggest quick-service restaurant and serves the largest variety of items. The atmosphere inside is of a working hanger bay. There are model spaceships, rustic decorations, and ship parts that make up the seating areas.
Docking Bay 7 only serves a few breakfast items, but lunch and dinner are where they shine. The menu may seem a bit strange at first (especially when Galaxy’s Edge first premiered), but the entrees are actually very good. Originally, the names were all written in Batuuese, but they have since been translated to English so that most people could understand the selections.
All the entrées, such as The Batuuan Beef Pot Roast, Endorian Fried Chicken Tip Yip, and Surabat Shrimp & Noodle Salad are served in cast iron serving dishes which make a great presentation. As with all other quick-service locations, there are allergy-friendly and plant-based options.
Stop by Docking Bay 7 if you are in the mood for something completely different and/or are a total Star Wars fan. They have upped the concept of a quick service meals here. It is out of this world!
Backlot Express
Backlot Express is the restaurant for the film fanatics. This quick-service restaurant is designed using old movie props with a warehouse feel. The location server typical park fare such as burgers, chicken strips and sandwiches, and salads, but is always reliable.
You can find this restaurant directly next to Star Tours. There is an ample amount of both indoor and outdoor seating, although indoor seating can still be tough to find when the park is very busy. While there, be sure to walk around and see the various props and decorations.
ABC Commissary
One of the more popular places to grab a bite at Hollywood Studios is ABC Commissary. The atmosphere inside has a retro Art Deco feel and designed as if you were to go to a movie studio and eating at their cafeteria. It features posters of many favorite ABC Shows to enhance the feeling of studio commissary.
Breakfast and lunch are a typical counter service experiences—order at a register, take your food to your table and enjoy. However, after 4:00 PM, things turn a bit more relaxing. You will still place your order at a register, but then take a pager to your table and take a load off your feet. Your food will be brought out to you.
They offer a wide variety of food, including BBQ Ribs, Mediterranean Salad, Fish and Shrimp platter, and burgers, including plant-based burgers.
Fairfax Fare
This quick-service restaurant is located in the Sunset Boulevard section of the park. Treat yourself to a delicious waffle bowl filled with savory chicken, pork or brisket and tasty toppings, or enjoy the fresh and flavorful plant-based bowl.
This is an all-outdoor restaurant so it may not be the best choice on a rainy day or to get out of the heat. Don’t miss the Key Lime Pie on a stick – it’s the perfect refreshing treat on a hot day.
Hollywood Studios Snacks
Snacking in Hollywood Studios will offer classic theme park food, mixed with some unique treats thanks to Galaxy’s Edge.
A visit to Galaxy’s Edge is not complete without trying blue milk. The Blue Milk is coconut and rice milk mixed with passionfruit for a creamy and fruity aftertaste. There is also a Green Milk version which is coconut milk and orange, giving citrus lovers the perfect refresher.
Both have a slightly frozen texture and are available with alcohol for those 21 years of age and over.
Also, over in Galaxy’s Edge, you can find popcorn, but not the traditional version (although they have that too—except its tinted blue). They also have another red and purple tinted popcorn that has a sweet and slightly spicy flavor. (It’s my favorite snack in Hollywood Studios)
If you’re in the mood for something sweet, check out Dinosaur Gertie’s Ice Cream of Extinction by Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular. You cannot miss this soft serve place. It’s actually inside the giant green dinosaur watching over the lake.
Or head over to Epic Eats for funnel cakes topped with vanilla soft serve ice cream and strawberry topping. It’s so big you can make a meal of it.

Animal Kingdom's Quick Service Dining
Take a trip to far-away lands and indulge in African and Asian cuisine at the Animal Kingdom. But if you are not that adventurous, you can find American favorites as well.
Disney World’s biggest park has plenty of food options for every palate, including: Barbecue, Pizza, Burgers, Chinese food, and traditional African flavors. Be sure to read through this article before you go to decide which quick service restaurant is right for you. With a park this large, the restaurants are spread out across the property.
Flame Tree Barbecue
Starting off with a fan favorite and ever-popular restaurant, there is Flame Tree Barbecue. Located on Discovery Island, near the entrance of the park, this centralized location keeps the crowds frequenting this restaurant for its delicious house-smoked barbecue.
If you are having trouble deciding what to get, try out their Ribs, Chicken, and Pulled Pork Sampler, this features their biggest sellers with a gigantic portion, perfect for sharing. Their baked Mac n’ Cheese is super consistent and has their pulled pork on top.
Flame Tree Barbecue is perfect for families, and their expansive outside seating area gives a wonderful and calming view across the lake to Expedition Everest.
Restaurantosaurus
While this doesn’t have the most unusual menu in Animal Kingdom, it’s perfect for a quick bite to satisfy your burger craving. You will find burgers, chicken nuggets and salads. If you are traveling with small kids, this would be the best and most reliable place to dine, it’s an easy menu and has a very large topping bar to maximize flavor for your burgers.
There is also a large number of allergy-friendly options and, as with most quick service restaurants, there are plant-based options as well.
Restaurantosaurus is located next to DINOSAUR, so the atmosphere inside is playful, with prehistoric bones inside. Also, there is a room to the right of the counter-service area which features tables inside of an RV for a very cool seating arrangement.
Pizzafari
Just as the name implies, this quick-service restaurant serves pizza. Lots and lots of pizza. In fact, it is the busiest restaurant in all of Disney World. With that kind of volume, it is understandable that the pizza is mass-produced and not made to order.
On the other hand, the decor inside the restaurant is invigorating. Wonderfully vibrant colors along with bright murals cover the walls. This restaurant is perfect for picky kids who love pizza, but with so many other excellent options across the park, consider one of the other restaurants before settling on Pizzafari.
Harambe Market
One of the newer additions to Animal Kingdom, Harambe Market brings subtle African spices and flavors to your table. There are 4 different walk-up windows, each featuring different items like gyros, chicken bowls, smoked sausages, and international coke products you can’t typically find in America. Harambe Market has something for everyone who is willing to be just a little adventurous.
This open area market is located right next to Kilimanjaro Safari and if you come at the right time, you will be serenaded with the various African bands who perform in the area!
Yak and Yeti Local Foods Cafe
Right next to the Pan-Asian table service restaurant Yak and Yeti is the quick service equivalent, Yak and Yeti Local Foods Cafe. This restaurant can be best described as great take-out Chinese food, but that feels like a disservice.
It serves specialties like Orange Chicken, Teriyaki Beef Bowls, and Tempura Shrimp, which makes this restaurant a popular place in Animal Kingdom. But it’s also popular due to the quality. Especially if you were not able to get a dining reservation in the full-service restaurant.
Yak and Yeti Local Foods Café also serve breakfast. You can get egg sandwiches or a bowl to start off your day.
Satu’li Canteen
The newest addition to Animal Kingdom has quickly become the fan favorite. Satu’li Canteen is located in Pandora, next to Flight of Passage and serves customizable bowls filled with your favorite protein (beef, chicken, or shrimp), vegetables, starch, and sauce. There are so many combinations to choose from.
Another favorite is the Cheeseburger Steamed Pod—ground beef and cheese in a bao bun. They are typically only served on the children’s menu, but you will often find adults getting them because they are so good.
The food is fresh and health, and the atmosphere is immersive. The is an ample indoor and outdoor seating. Pandora itself is a wonderful area of the park, and Satu’li Canteen is no exception.
Animal Kingdom Snacks
Snacking around Animal Kingdom can bring interesting flavors into your palate.
If you are in Pandora, check out Pongu Pongu directly after the gift shop at the end of Flight of Passage. Here you can get a Pongu Lumpia, a pineapple and cream cheese filled spring roll which is served warm and is a decadent sweet treat.
Or, you can also get a colossal pretzel with beer cheese dip, and the popular Night Blossom drink, which is layers of apple and desert pear limeade topped with passion fruit boba balls.
If you are in Asia, check out Anandapur Ice Cream Truck where you can get soft-serve ice cream or ice cream floats. The truck is hard to miss, its vibrant colors stand out in the neutral colors used around Expedition Everest.
Kusafari Coffee and Bakery in Africa, by Kilimanjaro Safari, sells coffee throughout the day, but also has delicious pastries such as the Elephant Ears. These are puff pastries covered in sugar and dipped in chocolate (in the shape of Elephant ears of course). Perfect for a sweet tooth or an afternoon pick-me-up.
But if you are looking for a more substantial or savory snack, Eight Spoon Café serves baked macaroni and cheese topped with pulled pork or shrimp and sweet chili sauce. Or you can get Buffalo Chicken Bites at Trilo-Bites. Both snack spots are located Dinoland.
